 Looks like a spring ski day with above 0 C temperatures. Plan to meet as usual at 10:00 in the chalet & we will go from there!

Ski Report Feb 9-15

Sunday Feb 15 - Pete skied 13 km including Red Fox & all of Kenner meeting Barry at Adam Scott when skiing up Trillium. Once again the conditions were ideal, sun, relative"warmth" & fast snow. The photo was taken at the top of the long downhill on Kenner S. Dave Messervey & Bill Hardwick left the chalet about 9:30, went north on Kawartha to Trillium, then south on Trillium to Kenner; south on Kenner to Fisher, over to Adam Scott to Deer . We rejoined Kenner  to Rabbit, to Olympic & a return to the chalet for a ski of 15 km

Thursday Feb 12 l Barry, Pete, John Crawford, Dave Messervey, Bill Hardwick, Arndt, Dale, Blake & Garry Kotleles met in the chalet at 10:00 met for a ski on a day when the conditions were ideal. Arndt, Dave, Dale, Bill, John & Barry skied up Kawartha to Owl to PL then down Trillium to Adam Scott to Fisher. Pete, Blake & Garry skied Peanut, High Rd, Fisher, Adam Scott to Trillium up tp Wolf over to Kawartha & down to Red Fox for a delightful ski on this wilderness trail over to Trillium, up to Adam Scott & down to Fisher where we met the others for a return on Fisher & Beaver to the chalet

Tuesday Feb 10 - Deciding that we couldn't have too much snow for a ski Peter Hamley, Barry Diceman & Pete MacLoghlin met at 10:30. The forecast had indicated a heavy snowfall until mid-afternoon but the skies were clear when we arrived. The Tanney Loop & PL had been groomed earlier but by the time we started to ski these trails were covered in powder snow. which meant breaking trail on the flatter sections. We skied on Beaver to the High Rd downhill back to Beaver to Trillium & up to Adam Scott. Peter & Barry continued on Trillium to ski PL, Owl, Kawartha, Wolf & Trillium. Pete skied down Adam Scott across Fisher for a lovely long downhill ski in the powder on the way to the Laderach cabin followed by all the downhill runs on Deer to Kenner, up Rabbit to Beaver for another nice downhill ski to the chalet.

Ski Report for Feb 3 - 9

 Tuesday Feb 3 - We met at 10:00 as usual in the WoodFine chalet. It was snowing lightly on arrival but became much heavier as the day progressed which caused some clumping of snow on our skis. We all skied on Peanut & High Rd to Fisher to Adam Scott to Wolf to Kawartha. Dave Messervey, Peter, Barry, Dale & Arndt skied up Kawartha to Trillium, down to Wolf to Kawartha fo a return ski to the chalet. Pete, Bill & Garry Koteles ( his 1st ski with us) skied back on Wolf to Trillium to Beaver then Jam for a ski of 9.5 km

Thursday Feb 5 - Dave Calvert, John Crawford, Bill McKnight, Barry & Pete met at 10:00. We skied on, Peanut, High Rd, Beaver, Trillium to Adam Scott where Pete left to ski on his own while the others continued on Trillium to Wolf. Dave skied on Wolf then down Kawartha while Barry, John & Bill skied the Tanney Loop. Pete skied Adam Scott to Laderach, Deer. & Kenner.  In the afternoon Dave Messervey & Arndt skied Kawartha, Owl, PL Trillium, Wolf for a return ski down Kawartha. The conditions were ideal as the skis were gliding effortlessly on groomed trails

Sunday Feb 8 - Cold temperatures on the weeknd but by the afternoon it was a mellow -14 C!. However conditions were excellent all trails except Peanut had been groomed & track set & the sun was shining.
