Ski Report Feb 24 - March 1

Tuesday Feb 24 - 11 skiers met in the chalet including John Cameron, Barry's cousin & Gord a friend of Peter's. Arndt described the conditions as the best yet. Everyone skied Peanut, High Rd, Trillium to Wolf. Peter, Arndt, Dave Messervey, Bill & Gord skied Wolf, Kawartha, Owl, PL, Trillium to Wolf where Bill & Gord continued to ski down Trillium while the others skied on Wolf to Kawartha S for a return to the chalet. Pete, Dale, Barry, John, Dave Calvert & Blake skied up Tanney for a ski down Kawartha to Wolf where Barry, Dale & John left to ski on Wolf to Trillium to Beaver while Pete, Dave C & Blake continued on Kawartha for a fun ski down to the chalet.

Thursday Feb 26 - Once again conditions were superb, all trails were groomed after an overnight snowfall. Pete skied up Kawartha to Red Fox which had been groomed to wind up & down thru the woods to Trillium, up to PL, Owl & back to Kawartha for a return to the chalet after a ski of 16.5 km.

Sunday March 1 - Another good ski day ay KNSC. Pete skied Kawartha, Wolf, Trillium, Kenner to Fisher for his 1st ski in 2 years down & up 2 steep gullies to Adam Scott, Deer, Sugar Shack & Beaver for a ski of 14 km
