We met in Bobcaygeon at Lakeside Park on an ideal day for cycling this scenic 45 km ride that Doug Smith introduced many years ago. From the park we cycled west on a paved shoulder beside Sturgeon Lake on Cty Rd 24 to Dunsford. From Dunsford we cycled north on Sturgeon Rd for a 5 km ride to Sturgeon Lake & a 2 km ride beside the lake before cycling uphill to Gil-Mar Rd & south across Hgw 36 for a return ride into Dunsford. From there we cycled south on Sturgeon Rd (Cty Rd 7) for 5 km ride to Log House Rd & east to Cedar Glen Rd for a ride on a newly paved surface across Hgw 36 & Cty Rd 24 to the lake then east to Clifford Dr which ends at Cty Rd 24 for a return to Bobcaygeon & a picnic lunch in the park beside Sturgeon Lk.
