This week we met for a ski on Thursday as there was a freezing rain warning on Tuesday. Although the temperature was slightly above freezing the skin & waxless skis were gliding nicely. The exception being Arndt who is yet to find a wax that works in these conditions. We split up into 2 groups after starting on Peanut to High Rd to Trillium then north to Wolf where some of is skied over to Kawartha & back while the others skied the Tanney Loop. On our return we skied on Adam Scott to Fisher to Beaver followed by lunch in the chalet. Trails are closed Friday because of rain so check for updates on the KNSC website, hope that we can have a ski on Tuesday Jan 13.
