Wed Sept 2 - Ride from Omemee

6 cyclists met in Omemee at Riverside Pk for a 40 km ride on paved roads thru the City of Kawartha Lakes countryside on a route that Barry has led in past years. After a deluge of rain earlier in the morning we had ideal weather except for a strong SW wind. We cycled on the TCT thru Reaboro to Post Rd for a long gradual uphill ride north across Cty Rd 17 to Cheese Factory Rd, a pioneer corduroy road, for a ride east to Heights Rd & south past an Amish community across Cty Rd 17 to St Lukes Rd & a ride east to Esker Rd for another long ride south across Tracey's Hill Rd to Beaver Rd & a short ride east to Sibley Ave & downhill to the TCT for a return to Omemee & lunch in the large shade shelter beside the Pigeon R
